Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns for CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki also served as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 for the field of political communications and was the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. There was speculation that she would replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21However, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 , and was there until the end.
