Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th, 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were only a few of her film roles. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998), with various other roles as a star, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013, as Michelle McBride on the first season of the series Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 through 2021, as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the show NCIS. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher, and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a middle-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued her acting training by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. Bello has written about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Questioning The Labels We Give Ourselves, (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
